Finished project: Crocheted Hat and Scarf

Hey Guys! When the "BER" months are here, it means chilly days are here too. And this inspires me to make something that I can wear and will keep me warm. I consider myself a beginner in the crochet world. I have to thank the Youtubers for their instruction videos and bloggers for their written instruction on how to crochet stuff. Thanks for sharing your designs.  Last Sunday, I have completed a scarf. I've completed the hat a few days prior.  The hat design is from a book - Cool Crochet Hats by Linda Kopp. The design is called Divine Simplicity and the designer is Dot Matthews. I thought I followed the instruction well, but it was too short for my head. I did not use the recommended yarn and hook so, it was too short for me. A new start for October - SodaStitch

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Fall is my favorite season because of the cooler weather and of course, the beautiful autumn colors around me. I live in West Virginia, and it is so pretty here when it is fall. My favorite activity during the fall season is to walk along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal in Williamsport, MD and enjoy the trees and their autumn leaves. I thought I wanted to stitch something with autumn and Halloween themed design but I don't want to go through my collection of books and magazines to look for one. I went browsing on Etsy instead and particularly looked at designs from SodaStitch because I wanted a cutesy pattern and I wanted to instant download the pattern so I can start it right away. Last weekend, I started Soda Stitch's Cat's Autumn . I am just too excited to start these cute cats. So below is my progress so far.
